hey, everybody. good morning. it is friday, november 21st. welcome to "way too early." we read mean tweets in the breaks to each other. we should start to record them. we will then tweet them out. i think people will get a kick. it's great to have you with us. it is a friday. we want to start in upstate new york where a massive snowstorm is expected to wrap up after pounding the buffalo region. the storm is being blamed for at least ten deaths after dropping more than 7 feet of snow in certain areas. roof collapses is a major concern. with warmer temperatures expected this weekend, flooding is going to be an issue as well. lester holt has more. >> reporter: more than 100 patients had to be evacuated from this nursing home when the roof began to show signs of weakening. >> the roof is comprised. obviously it has not collapsed

yet but there is potential. >> reporter: in hamburg more than 2 dozen people driven from the road by whiteout conditions and deep snow have been holed up in the walmart since tuesday. from the air we could see entire sections of the buffalo area painted in white. rooftops that look as though they've been slathered in whipped cream. >> we've worked our way south of buffalo and it gets worse. these are unplowed streets. you can count dozen of cars that were bury ied in snow. it's like the day the earth stood still. >> even as road crews make progress there are naiblds cut off surrounded by chest-deep snow. we ventured down one cul-de-sac on foot. we could only shout a conversation with this woman. >> have you ever seen it like this? >> i've never seen anything like this. >> officials say they're doing their best to reach those facing emergencies. and reminding home-bound

industry. the center piece prevents the deportation as many as 5 million americans most of whom are the parents of children born on u.s. soil. >> if you register, pass a criminal background check, and you're willing to pay your fair share of taxes, you'll be able to apply to stay in this country temporarily without fear of deportation. you can come out of the shadows. and get right with the law. all we're saying is we're not going to deport you. i know, some of the critics of the action call it amnesty. well, it's not. amnesty is the immigration system we have today. >> and while he argued every president since eisenhower has taken executive action. it's clear that the president is aware of the pearilous politics that lie ahead. >> don't let it be a deal breaker on every issue. it's not how our democracy works. congress certainly shouldn't shut down our government again

just because we disagree on this. >> republicans s incensed and spae party is using the president's words against him. >> he's acting like one. the american people want nothing more than for us to work together. >> he was talking about immigration that day. i know, that some wish i could bypass congress and change the law myself. that's not how democracy works. indeed, mr. president. it isn't. >> some like jim demint say the move will only em boldin more people to make the trek across from mexico. many top legislators and governors are considering legal action. some are pushing for surgical budget strikes. others dangled the idea of a shut down. others won't rule out the idea of impeachment.

>> appropriation bill is the one area where the senate and congress can prioritize spending and we can defund areas of president obama's lawlessness. and so we should do so we should use the -- >> are you worried about the political draw back on the republicans if they do that? >> not if it's very targeted and very limit what happened are we talking about? maybe denying a cup million dollar worth of spending in no. this is not threatening government shut down or anything drastic. >> resolution of disapproval. second would be a censure. third, cut out the appropriation bills the funds that would fund this. that's the progressive effort of this moving forward. but i don't want to do the last thing. i don't want to do the i-word. nobody wants to throw the nation into that turmoil. the president has thrown us into this situation. some republicans have urged caution senator lindsey graham of south carolina said, quote, if you overreact it cobecomes about us not about president

obama. bill cosby is scheduled to take the stage tonight for a performance as this list of women accusing him of sexual assault is growing. we now have a new person to add to the list. 57-year-old florida nurse saying that cosby drugged and raped her in las vegas when she was 19. she continued to see him and later asked for an asked and received thousands of dollars from him. >> he changed the course of my life instead of empowering me like he said he does to people, he made me a victim. and all my life i've been a victim because of this. it doesn't go away for all the days of my life. >> the wife of the incredible hulk actor is also speaking out. karla ferrigno claims cosby tried to force him in 1967 but she was able to get away. new york's daily news has this

cnbc join us live from london. why the need for the review and what changes could we see as a result of the feds stepping in. >> well it's interesting. why the need? the fact of the matter is, it's been six years in the making. the 2008 crisis there was a huge amount of crisis among all the regulators not just the federal reserve about how they dealt with wall street. there's been criticism from junior staff they weren't allowed to carry the investigations forward that they wanted to. the sweeping changes that we talk about here perhaps less of a cozy relationship between some stockers and the banks. the federal reserve irts denied a lot of accusations. they said they have had big strengths and successes including strengthening the bank's funding and how they police themselves. new requirements about what they pay dividend and billions of dollars in settlements.

meanwhile, the u.s. market hit more than record highs in the previous session. we saw the 44th record high for the s&p for 2014. we're on the cusp of record territo territory. there's a comeback. marketing stabilizing. people like the intel shares. some of the days it was really good as well including the fed. i have to one question mark about that. we worry about other countries but it was the best figure since 1993 and some have said it was too good to be true. if it was that good then the u.s. economy could be growing twice the rate it is. some of the data may have been enr erroneous. >> it's interesting we're back in hindsight being 20/20 of the president's recent trip and meetings in china. google is looking to get back into the country. which is a country that didn't have much to do with the company in years' past map do you think

the reconnectivity is about? >> at lot of speculation. google seize d their relation r. the fact remains there are reports, we haven't got google confirming this. there are reports considering bringing a version of the play mobile app back to china. the reason is apparent. there are all kinds of apps being sold in the country and they will be able to control the whole process. >> certainly a huge marketplace. that's for sure. have a great weekend. tributes are pouring in for mike nichols. he passed away wednesday night. he was born in germany but came to the u.s. when he was 7. alpa chino called him the greatest director.
